Work progresses on InterLink SQ

-

LOCATED at the northern end of the Toowoomba Enterprise Hub, InterLink SQ is just 13 kilometres west of the Toowoomba CBD.

It will offer road access and rail services via the Intermodal and Rail Terminal precinct.

Once finished, the hub will offer unprecedented opportunities for forward thinking transport and logistics operators to get ahead of their competition via efficiencies and consolidation.

Colliers International Toowoomba are the lead marketing agents for this project.

Earlier this month Dan Dwan managing director and Troy Anderson commercial sales and leasing executive of Colliers International Toowoomba, in conjunction with TSBE, represented the Darling Downs at the Australian Logistics Councils Forum in Melbourne.

This was a chance to promote the benefits of Interlink SQ and the Toowoomba Enterprise Hub to key stakeholders in the transport and logistics industry.

After visiting the InterLink SQ site this week, Colliers agents Dan Dwan and Troy Anderson are pleased to announce works are progressing well with the curbing and channelling well under way.

Mr Anderson said there are some great opportunities and outstanding interest in our region.

“This is a nationally significant project, that will impact the way freight is moved on the Eastern seaboard,” he said.

Colliers International are currently fielding enquiries from logistic and transport providers, coinciding with the soon to be announced terminal operator.

The level of development progressing forth in the Toowoomba region was also highlighted at the forum in Melbourne, during InterlinkSQ Chief Executive Officer’s Michelle Reynolds keynote address.

Not only the Toowoomba Enterprise Hub was acknowledged but the Nexus Second Range Crossing, Grand Central redevelopment and the Toowoomba CBD revitalisation. “Business as a whole has recognised the significance of Toowoomba in relation to the national freight network with InterLink SQ underpinning this view,” Mr Anderson said.
