Truck fire

EMERGENCY services rushed to the scene of a truck on fire at a busy Toowoomba intersection yesterday.

Fire crews were called out at 2.10pm to the corner of Anzac Ave and James St.

The truck was well-alight when crews arrived but the driver escaped uninjured.

The fire was extinguished within 15 minutes but the road was closed for more than an hour as fire crews clear the scene.
