Projects focus of Enterprise Evening
THE latest Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise networking event was held at the Roma Explorer’s Inn, with about 170 delegates joining the night to hear about major projects in the Maranoa Region.
Attendees at the Enterprise Evening heard from two of Australia's oil and gas exploration and production companies Santos and Senex, as well as an update on the region from Maranoa Regional Council’s Mayor Tyson Golder and Cr Cameron O’Neil.
Senex chief operating officer Darren Greer and Maranoa Regional Manager at Santos, Andrew Snars took to the stage to provide project information around local content and procurement.
An extensive question and answer session was also held after the speeches.
The next TSBE Enterprise event is a budget briefing on July 20 at Tapestry in Toowoomba with Queensland Treasurer Curtis Pitt.
