Clever sci-fi series raises the stakes

FOLLOWING the international success of the first season of Cleverman, which earned a prestigious Peabody Award nomination, the second season of this gripping and ground-breaking Australian series picks up with the destruction of the Zone and the Hairypeople hiding out in fear for their lives. Koen (Hunter Page-Lochard), the chosen Cleverman, sets out to harness his powers in the hope of bringing all cultures together. Dubbed “sexy, bloody, thought-provoking and startlingly original” by the Sydney Film Festival, Cleverman is a co-production between Goalpost Pictures, Pukeko Pictures and Sundance TV. The series also stars Iain Glen (Game of Thrones), Frances O’Connor (The Missing) and Deborah Mailman.
