Lawyer helps clients in tough times

-

FAMILY law might be a tough gig for some, but not for former Downlands student Ben O’Neill.

Mr O’Neill, who has been a practising lawyer since 2010, started up his own boutique law firm about a year ago.

“There was always something that appealed to me about working with people through what is often the hardest time of their lives,” he said.

“You develop a relationship with the client and work closely with them to manage a difficult period so as to come out the other side in a good place.”

Mr O’Neill said this past year had been a successful one, with the business growing steadily.

Mr O’Neill and his staff celebrated the business’ first anniversary with an event at O’Neill Family Law at 196 Hume St on June 16.

“It was really good, a lot of people came along from the region and it was great to catch up with colleagues and friends alike,” he said.
