FOGS COLTS: The Western Mustangs will be out to bounce back when they take on Easts in the next round of the FOGS Cup Colts Challenge in Brisbane.

The Mustangs looked to have turned a corner a fortnight ago when they posted their first win of the Colts Challenge against Souths-Logan.

The two teams met again the following week and the Mustangs couldn’t follow up the first win with another on the road at Souths-Logan.

They will now look to rediscover that comeback performance that netted their first win when they take on second-placed Easts in Brisbane today.

Big man Will O’Gradey could be in for a different role against Easts as he has been named to start at lock for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs remain anchored at the bottom of the ladder and will be keen to string together some good performances in a bid to rise up the standings.

Meanwhile, the Western Mustangs Fillies are scheduled to be back in action today in the SEQ Women’s B Division competition.

The Fillies were booked to play Norths Ipswich on the TRL’s Madsen-Rasmussen Trophy Final Day at Herb Steinohrt Oval but their opponents forfeited.

That means the Fillies head into today’s away game against Souths having played just once this month, so they will be keen to get back out on the park.
