Drone fun this holidays

-

As school students across the region head for the holidays, there are plenty of activities planned in the Western Downs for their entertainment.

Western Downs libraries will begin their holiday program, Up in the Air, today, with activities ranging from painting to drone workshops.

The program will be run at the libraries in Dalby, Chinchilla, Jandowae, Meandarra, Moonie, Miles, Tara and Wandoan.

One of the many school holiday activities on offer will be the drone workshops.

It has been created for children 13 years of age and older, and will be held in Dalby, Jandowae, Moonie, Chinchilla and Miles.

Cr Kaye Maguire said the Up in the Air school holiday activities were not to be missed, and would banish any school holiday boredom across the region.

The council libraries at Bell, Tara and Wandoan will also host the popular program, Fun Places.

Bookings are essential and can be made online at www.western downslibraries.com.
