Warwick trainer wins his first Allora Cup

-

Warwick trainer Les Clarke has taken out his first Allora Cup after a decisive win for Drum Master at Allman Park on Saturday.

Drum Master led all the way with apprentice jockey Michael Schrapel on board to take out the 1200m Railway Hotel Allora Cup.

He beat home Mac’s Boy by 2 1/2 lengths, with Will To Rule third a further 2-1/4 lengths away.

Drum Master now boasts an unbeaten record of three wins from three starts at Allman Park.

This victory is also special for 76-year-old Clarke as it is the first Allora Cup triumph for the Warwick trainer and goes with his Long Tan Cup and Killarney Cup successes.
