Big scores were the order of the day with six centuries across the competitio­n with wins to Bowenville, Nobby, Pittsworth and Southbrook. At Oakey the home side went to lunch very happy with 6-253 against Bowenville thanks to Jacob Pulzen 102, Jordan Wikairi 39, Jacob Wikairi 31 and Sam Bradford 29 not out. Wickets fell at 30, 34, 143, 194, 216, 244.

Best bowlers for Bowenville were Darryl Stewart 2-20 (3), Mustafa 2-54 (8), Jacob Jeans 1-28 (8) and Rahul Sharma 1-38(5).

In reply Bowenville had an opening partnershi­p of 96 when Ravi Kiran was out for 32 and Havard Peer finished 65 not out. David Connolly scored a magnificen­t 144 not out to complete a great win in 33 overs at 1- 259. Jacob Pulzen took 1-52( 7) for Oakey. Pittsworth had a return of form to post 360 all out in 40th over against Kulpi at Goombungee. Michael Hawkins 121, Mark holt 112 (in 16 overs), James Cain 56 and Darren McDonell 31 scored freely.

Kulpi fell short in the run chase, all out for 285 in 40th over. Terry Klingberg 111, David Sipple 53 and Rowan Klingberg 41 made the runs.

Best bowlers for Pittsworth were Jamie Ellison3-10 (4), Mark Holt 3-75 (8), James Cain 1-26 (8). Jarrod Ott and Darren McDonell took one wicket each.

Southbrook travelled to Millmerran and batted first and made 5-266 thanks to Kyle Tonkin 116 not out, Lindsay Fiechtner 67, Luke McGinnis 24 and B Tonkin 23 not out. Millmerran were all out in 32nd over for 174; Brett French71, Tim Curtis 62, Jimmy Sinclair 10.

Best bowlers for Southbrook B. Cavanagh 4-7(2.5), M Schmidt 3-14(8) Jocky Connolly 2-30(8). Downlands travelled to Hodgsonval­e to play Nobby and batted first and were all out for 88 in 28 overs. Tom Gore 28, Mitch Kelly 14, Riley Edge 11, Mat Smith 10, Mathew Rohde 9 got starts while there were three runouts and four ducks.

Wicket takers for Nobby; Mat Budden 2-13 (6) Warren Moodie 2-6(4), Mitch Foster 1-8 (3), Ben Lorraway 1-14 (2) James Speedy1-2 (3). Cam Moodie took five catches behind the stumps. Nobby took just 10 overs to win finishing 2-92. Christian Meehan was not out 49 and Cam Moodie made 27. Both wickets fell at 71.

Mitch Kelly and Mathew Rohde shared the wickets.

Next week sees Oakey host Nobby, Pittsworth host Southbrook, Bowenville host Millmerran and Downlands host Kulpi. The weather is playing its part this season and if rain is around next weekend teams are encouraged to consider shortened matches in order to play a game realising 20 overs will constitute a match.
