SDD calls for major award nominations

Nominations are now open for several of Sports Darling Downs major awards.

SDD president Mick Smith said the awards were designed to honour and acknowledge the achievements of our region’s top athletes, volunteers, officials and teams.

Nominations are being received for Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, Umpire/Referee of the Year, senior and junior Para Athlete of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Primary School of the Year and the Secondary School of the Year.

Nominations can be made via the charity group’s website www.sports darlingdowns.org.

The award winners will be announced at the SDD annual awards dinner on February 10, 2018.
