A MONTHLY foodie event coming to Toowoomba will continuously offer residents something new to tantalise their tastebuds.

It was almost two years ago when the Spotted Cow publican Phil Coorey decided to try his luck by hosting a pop up food festival.

Pop Will Eat Itself showcased different food varieties via food trucks. It was a sold out event.

Now, Mr Coorey has decided to host more pop up events, but this time enticing vendors from Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

The Blank Space Truck Collective will be held once a month, with the first kicking off on Friday, June 8 from 5pm.

Mr Coorey said he wasn’t sure why it took him so long to hold an event like this again.

“We are bringing up three, maybe four food trucks from Brisbane,” he said.

“They’ve never been here before and in another month we will bring up four more new food trucks.

“That amazing feeling of experiencing a new restaurant for the first time will be prevalent here each month.”

Mac From Way Back, a mac and cheese food truck and IndiMex’s Indian and Mexican inspired food are the first two vendors to be announced, with the rest being revealed in the lead up to the event date.

Tickets are $5.
