WARWICK: From the Da Vinci Code to obscure books about the most niche topics, avid readers will be able to pick up a bargain when the Warwick Daily News Lifeline Bookfest returns to the Southern Downs town next month.

The Bookfest, the sister event to The Chronicle Lifeline Bookfest in Toowoomba, will be held across two days on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 at St Mary’s Hall.

Hundreds of books will be on sale, with nothing over $5, though most items will be considerably less.

There is free admission, free parking and card payment available.

Proceeds from the event go towards Lifeline Darling Downs and South West Queensland crisis support and suicide prevention services, so every purchase helps save lives in our region.

St Mary’s Hall is located on the corner of Wood St and Acacia Avenue.

The hall will be open from 3pm to 8pm on the Friday and from 8am to 2pm on the Saturday.
