■ Jnette Harvey I like the look of the many four or more unit complexes in the city that are well constructed & look athletically pleasing as TRC must require in granting application permission. They're great housing for singles & couples & look much better than a lot of neglected homes.

■ Super freaky concerns about the council approved prison to be built at Charlton. Prisoner downs tools, heads to the Servo to grab a bacon and egg roll from the Coolibah Cafe and then, like the hobo of old, jumps on a freight train and leaves town. Better than hi-jacking your car and you want them gone anyway! So going away on the train? A good outcome. Just an observation.

■ VMCK, you surely do not mean "Toowoomba Council should be ashamed of handing money to 'out of town' sports club" ..... sweetheart 'out of town' is now part of your jurisdiction as well, in case you didn't realise it! We are all one!! Surely you meant that TRC needs to be ashamed of handing money to Brisbane based clubs!
