Ice bust trio facing court

EIGHTY witness statements have been taken in the case against three men charged over the Adelaide seizure of a record 313kg of methamphetamine.

Reginald Roberts, Steven Sherriff and Bill Mayne are each charged with attempted possession of a commercial quality of a controlled drug, while Roberts and Sherriff are also charged with attempted importation. In Adelaide Magistrates Court yesterday, defence counsel said they had not received the full case file but were told 80 witness statements were among materials.
