AFTER first meeting at a friend’s party during school, Jessamyn Douglas and Bryan Daniells have tied the knot.

The couple married on January 19 this year at O’Reillys Rainforest Retreat in Lamington National Park.

They first met at the party in 2012 and were engaged exactly a year before they were married, on January 19, 2017.

Bryan decided to take Jessamyn to dinner on their fourth anniversary and followed it with a drive to Ravensbourne National Park look-out.

Looking over Toowoomba, he proposed.

After they were married, the pair honeymooned in New Zealand’s north island.

Both Jessamyn and Bryan grew up and went to school in Toowoomba. Jessamyn was a local Girl Guides leader and Bryan was a car enthusiast.

Jessayn is the daughter of Ingrid Spoelder from Toowoomba and Bryan is the son of Sue and Fred Daniells, also from Toowoomba.
