Gagged for threat of ‘revenge’

-

THE scorned ex-mistress of Channel 7 CEO Tim Worner will continue to be gagged from speaking about her affair after a Supreme Court justice determined she had threatened to “destroy” his career and reputation out of “revenge”.

In his decision to maintain a temporary gag order on the disgruntled ex-Seven employee, Justice Robert McDougall chastised Channel 7 chairman Kerry Stokes and board member Jeff Kennett along with Amber Harrison, for “waging” media campaigns to slander each other.

Channel 7 sought an injunction against Ms Harrison last week after she went public about the affair and began releasing documents on Twitter.

After making a ruling on Tuesday, Justice McDougall yesterday released his judgment to continue the injunction ahead of a full hearing on March 3.
