Leader a ‘madman’

CONTROVERSIAL Islamic leader Keysar Trad has been labelled a madman for his justification of domestic violence as a “last resort” for men who have already tried to appease their wives by buying them flowers or chocolates.

The damaging remarks have been condemned by support groups and other members of the Islamic community, while the federal Immigration Minister Peter Dutton described Mr Trad as “mad” and his choice of words as “stupid”.

Hundreds of disgusted viewers have also vented their rage on social media after taking offence to the comments made during Andrew Bolt’s Sky News program on Wednesday night while discussing the Koran.
