Baden-Clay loses right

-

GERARD Baden-Clay has been formally stripped of any right to his murdered wife Allison’s estate.

Yesterday, Brisbane Supreme Court Justice Peter Applegarth granted Geoff Dickie’s bid for “full” administration of his daughter’s estate.

Justice Applegarth declared Baden-Clay wasn’t “entitled to obtain or receive any benefit” from the death of his wife, whom he’s been convicted of murdering in April 2012.

He made an order granting Mr Dickie “letters of administration,” meaning he can distribute his daughter’s estate, which will go to her three daughters.

Lawyers acting for Baden-Clay said the move was unopposed. Allison’s will had left her entire estate to Gerard.
