Generous supporters of Variety, The Children’s Charity, enjoyed a fun day at the Gold Coast Turf Club

VARIETY, THE CHILDREN’S CHARITY RACE DAY GCTC, Bundall

THE thing with any charity is that the need for funds never ends. So it is with Variety, The Children’s Charity, which gathered more than 100 supporters for a day at the races. Newly appointed Queensland Variety CEO Steve Wakerley came along to enjoy the fun in the sun as the guests enjoyed the views of the gee-gees from the Paradise Room at GCTC. A series of raffles, best-dressed prizes and, of course, some misplaced bets rounded out the day.
