OK kids, time for morning tea
STUDENTS at the Kooralbyn International School got a nature lesson with real bite yesterday when a hungry snake devoured its meal right outside one of their classrooms.
Snake catcher Bryce Lockett told Nine News that he received a call from the school and found the 2.5m coastal carpet python wrapped around a hare.
“The snake was on the path to one of the classrooms,” he said. “He was pretty placid ... he was just enjoying his meal.”
The 21-year-old said the coastal carpet python was a common sight in the area and that he relocated the greedy snake, with its prey, away from the school.
