Saudis face Sept 11 suit

HUNDREDS of relatives of those killed on September 11, 2001 have sued Saudi Arabia, joining others who have tried to hold the kingdom responsible for the attacks.

The lawsuit alleges senior Saudi officials and al-Qaeda operatives used Saudi charities to send millions of dollars to alQaeda terrorists. Fifteen of the 19 attackers who hijacked planes to carry out the attacks that killed nearly 3000 people were Saudis.
