DO YOU SUPPORT THE PROPOSED CRUISE SHIP TERMINAL AT THE SPIT?

-

John Woltman, Labrador:

The cruise ship terminal will go ahead no matter what (Gold Coast) people want — as a tourism driven city it is definitely well overdue.

Karalee Wisse, Burleigh Heads:

There are enough ports, we don’t need one on the beautiful Gold Coast. I know it would help with employment but the environmental impacts are a concern.

Tyler Dorval, Burleigh Waters:

It would be a good addition to the city in terms of tourists getting access. I know people are concerned about access to the Seaway but I don’t think it is a huge drama.

Brittany O’Neill, Sanctuary Cove:

I like cruising. A terminal would definitely boost the local economy, so in that way it is a good idea.

Isabelle Pilgrim, Brisbane:

I can see there are pros and cons for the terminal. But my main concern would be if there are any negative impacts on the environment and water quality.

Emil Gosch, Denmark:

I cannot see why a cruise ship terminal would be a problem as it would be good for the economy.
