Fyfe and Dangerfield set to clash again
FREMANTLE coach Ross Lyon will embrace another showdown between Nat Fyfe and Patrick Dangerfield, but he’ll come up with a contingency plan just in case the star Cat gets off the leash.
Fyfe and Dangerfield produced one of the epic battles when they locked horns in 2015, and the pair will renew rivalries when Fremantle host Geelong on Sunday. Lyon says he expects Fyfe and Dangerfield to match up on each other for periods of the game, but pointed out Geelong also have other stars.
The Dockers will be without goalsneak Hayden Ballantyne (hamstring) for the first two months of the season, while the return of Harley Bennell (calf) is indefinite.
