Glenn’s Iron-clad backing for Milford

-

ANTHONY Milford is one of the elite of NRL players worth $900,000 or more a year, according to his Broncos teammate Alex Glenn.

News Corp reported yesterday that Milford would sign a three-year, $2.7 million contract upgrade with the Broncos in the next fortnight. With clubs throwing superhero money at matchwinners, Milford will look the part in his team’s Marvel “Ironman’’ playing strip in tomorrow night’s clash against Canberra at Suncorp Stadium.

“I believe he is one of those players, one of those X-factor players,’’ said Glenn, who also is in the last year of his Broncos contract.

“Where he’s at, he’s like (Jason) Taumalolo. He’s still building and not at his peak yet.’’

The Cowboys yesterday confirmed Taumalolo had agreed to a 10-year contract, which News Corp Australia reported to be $1 million a year.
