New Isuzu ute is packed with special features

-

AT $46,990 drive-away, the Isuzu D-Max X-Runner is based on the 2017 D-Max LS-U crew cab which has recently undergone its first update in five years.

Gold Coast Isuzu Ute sales manager Wayne Harris said the X-Runner gained all the improvements from the update, including an Aussie-developed engine, upgraded media display and front-end restyling.

“The D-Max has an exclusive Isuzu 3.0L turbo engine that produces 430Nm of torque, as well as cutting-edge technology to provide excellent fuel economy while still making plenty of power,” he said.

“In addition, its powerful diesel engine is built for towing; it will pull trailers, boats and caravans uphill and down the highway without breaking a sweat with a massive 3.5 tonne towing capacity plus.

“And with the 4x4 Terrain Command system and wide stance and heavy duty suspension, you can drive DMax into the toughest terrain.”

Mr Harris said the ute had a host of special features, including red badging on the grille and steering wheel, unique alloy wheels, gunmetal grey side steps and X-Runner side decals.

“There are also 100th anniversary badges, a black sports bar, heavy duty tub liner, rear parking sensors, black and red seats, climate control and a touch screen with reversing camera,” he said.

“The X-Runner also gains the LS-U’s standard features such as LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, an eightspeaker sound system, leatherwrapper steering wheel, carpet floors and LED tail lights.

“It’s powered by the D-Max’s new 130Kw/430Nm 3.0L four cylinder turbo-diesel engine.

“Available only with a sixspeed automatic transmission, the X-Runner is equipped with high and low four-wheel drive.

“Whether you’re going offroad for work or for fun, D-Max will get you there and beyond.”

The comprehensive care package provides buyers with a five-year warranty, five years roadside assistance and five years capped price servicing. Conditions apply.
