MARGOT QUEEN OF THE RED CARPET
SHE has been tipped to play a Queen, but already Margot Robbie looks like royalty.
The Gold Coast actor, who is in negotiations to star as Queen Elizabeth opposite Saoirse Ronan in Mary Queen of Scots, reigned supreme in a stunning Prada gown at the Time 100 Gala in New York on Tuesday.
Robbie’s status as a Hollywood A-lister was confirmed by her appearance in the Time 100, which is the magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most influential people. Explaining her inclusion, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese wrote that Robbie “is stunning in all she says and does” and “will astonish us forever”.
Robbie is currently starring in Fox Searchlight’s Goodbye Christopher Robin, where she plays the wife of Winnie the Pooh author A.A. Milne.
She recently wrapped production on I, Tonya, starring as the title character in a film she also produced under her Lucky Chap Entertainment banner.
