TINY BALLERINA’S BIG DREAMS FOR FUTURE

SHE may be just 11 years old but tiny ballerina Isabella Ardley has big, big dreams.

Described by her mother as “born to dance” the Amanda Bollinger Dance Academy student is getting ready to head over to the bright lights of London later this year.

Last month Isabella was invited to the Royal Ballet School to complete their summer program after her teacher suggested she apply.

Isabella said she was “very excited” at the prospect at going over to the renowned school to learn even more about dancing.

“I tried so hard in ballet and when I got the opportunity I was so happy,” she said. “I do it because I love it and it’s amazing to express your feelings through dancing.”

The plucky ballerina has had to overcome adversity after her father had two strokes, meaning her mother had to become his full time carer.

But despite the ensuing financial hardships, Isabella’s mother Catherine Ardley is determined to see her young star go to London.

“She’s done so much, she’s gone so far,” she said. “I don’t want her dreams to end just because of financial difficulties.”

Ms Ardley said Isabella began dancing at age three and always had a knack for it, adding she was now homeschooled so she could train for up to 18 hours each week.

The family has set up a my cause page to help fund Isabella’s trip.
