Lunch feeds charities

TWO not-for-profit organisations have reaped the rewards of the biannual Gold Coast Lads Lunch.

Exactly $50,000 was raised at the lunch held at Harry’s Steak Bistro and Bar on April 21. LIVIN and OzHarvest were the beneficiaries when more than 150 businessmen and professionals opened their hearts and wallets at the corporate do.

The event was hosted by former AFL legend and radio personality Peter ‘Spida’ Everitt and has raised more than $550,000 for 15 local charities since its inception in 2008.
