Fyre pair faces lawsuit

-

RAPPER Ja Rule (pictured) and business partner Billy McFarland have been hit with a $US100 million ($133 million) lawsuit over the disastrous Fyre Festival in the Bahamas at the weekend.

The music extravaganza lacked adequate food, water, shelter and medical care, creating a “dangerous and panicked situation”. Some paid up to $133,000 for tickets, according to a class-action suit.

Festival- goers had to survive on little more than bread and cheese, and the only shelters were exposed on a sandbar and “soaked and battered” the suit says.
