A classy field dressed to impress when they celebrated Women in Racing’s 12th anniversar­y and also did their bit for retired race horses

WOMEN IN RACING ANNIVERSAR­Y LUNCH Gold Coast Turf Club, Surfers Paradise

A GREAT turn out for the 12th anniversar­y of the Women in Racing gals when 80 impeccably dressed women (and a few men) did lunch in style. Held in The Boardroom at GCTC the day featured guest speaker Candida Baker from Save a Horse Australia who spoke about their work with retired race horses. A cheque for $8000 was also presented to the Institute for Glycomics at Griffith University. A big gold star to Jennifer Bartels and Baslyn Beel for their years of dedication.
