Heard proves a hit with critics and crew
AMBER Heard seems to be proving critics wrong on the Gold Coast set of Aquaman.
While the majority of the crew were meeting the US actor for the first time on the Village Roadshow Studios set last week, word has been quick to spread among them.
“I haven’t met her yet but I’ve heard only good things about her on set,” an insider said.
Heard has a close friendship with co-star Jason Momoa and appears to be quickly bonding with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II after they were photographed training together last week.
The actor was yesterday out on the Gold Coast with friends celebrating Cinco de Mayo.
“Cinco de Mayo in Australia, otherwise known as a good excuse to day-drink with your mates,” she said on Instagram.
She has been catching up with friends on the Gold Coast including Australian marketing expert Lauren Benedetti, who wrote “She’s a stunner, a sweetie pie and a badass. Aquaman is going to be crazy!”
Momoa slipped quietly into Brisbane to enjoy legendary film composer Hans Zimmer’s live show on Saturday night. He returned to the Coast where he was spotted snapping selfies with fans yesterday.
