Harry’s first outing with Meghan
THINGS are getting serious between Prince Harry and TV star Meghan Markle, who has made her first official appearance as the royal’s girlfriend at a society function.
Previously keen to keep their romance out of the public eye, the actor watched and clapped from the royal box as Prince Harry played in a charity polo match at Cowarth Park, Ascot at the weekend.
Royal sources have said the surprise public outing was a curtain-raiser for Markle, 35, to accompany Harry, 32, to royal sister-in-law Pippa Middleton’s wedding in two weeks, alongside other royals including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Catherine. Catherine’s sister will marry investment banker James Matthews on May 20.
Canadian-born actor Markle was pictured in the royal box with Harry’s close friends, former Welsh guard officer Mark Dyer and his wife.
