Pair kicked out of Bali

AN Australian man and a former Reuters war correspondent have been released from Bali’s Kerobokan prison and will be deported after being jailed for drug use.

Both say they hope to return to the tourist island.

Australian Giuseppe Serafino, 48, and British man David Fox were sentenced to seven months in prison in March after they were busted with hashish in October last year.

Upon his release from Kerobokan prison yesterday, Fox said he felt “good and strong”.

“I hope to come back to Bali,” he said. “I’m very sorry for what happened.”
