Alert over horror drug

A LETHAL drug that is 100 times more powerful than morphine and deadly in tiny doses has placed law enforcement authorities in Australia on high alert.

Fentanyl has caused a large number of deaths across North America and the AFP, Australian Border Force and Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission are working to combat the spread of the drug here.

ABF Commissioner Roman Quaedvlieg said authorities were trying to track purchases and imports of the deadly drug on the dark net.
