Model pleads guilty to drugs charges

-

A BIKINI model and former personal trainer has admitted possession of testosterone and a dangerous horse drug which mimics steroids after she was busted by police.

Aneta Maria Siedlecka, 38, was in the Supreme Court in Brisbane yesterday before Justice Martin Daubney where she was due to stand trial.

The trial did not go ahead because before it could begin Ms Siedlecka agreed to formally plead guilty to three charges.

She admitted possession of more than 50 grams of the powerful hormone testosterone on November 26, 2014 at Broadbeach Waters, and possession of clenbuterol on the same day.

Clenbuterol is a fat-burning and muscle-building anabolic agent which can strain the heart muscle. It is legally used in the equine industry to help horses with their breathing but is a schedule 2 dangerous drug for humans in Queensland.

Siedlecka also admitted possession of implements “in connection with the crime of producing dangerous drugs” which included labels, syringes, glass vials, vial lids and vial seals.

Siedlecka’s barrister Patrick Wilson asked the court for her to be sentenced on May 19, when her co-accused Monica Alexopoulos was due to be sentenced.

Alexopoulos has been charged with the same three charges as well as two others: possession of the anabolic steroid oxandrolone and possession of clenbuterol and alprazolam, commonly known as anti-anxiety drug Xanax.

Siedlecka’s sentencing has been adjourned to a date to be fixed. She declined to comment.
