PRESIDENTIAL NOD
ON March 21, President Donald Trump signed the NASA Transition Authorisation Act of 2017. The Act is the first comprehensive NASA authorisation passed by Congress in more than six years and authorises the development and execution of a long-range plan for deep space human exploration; invests in robust science, technology and aeronautics portfolios; and endorses NASA’s successful efforts to nurture a new commercial market that will boost the US economy and create more jobs. President Trump is keen to create some historic milestones for exploration on Mars. Optimists think that it could be feasible to have astronauts at least orbiting Mars by 2033.
