Mills on mark for the Spurs

BASKETBALL AUSTRALIAN Patty Mills poured in five three-pointers on his way to 20 points as San Antonio took a 3-2 NBA playoff series lead over Houston.

Mills, starting for the injured Tony Parker, matched his career playoff scoring high and played 43 minutes in the 110-107 overtime thriller.

The win puts Spurs on the brink of the Western Conference finals against Golden State Warriors. Mills was important late in the game and in overtime, draining a clutch three that kept San Antonio in the game.
