Wood coy on Aussie hopes

NETBALL SUNSHINE Coast goal attack Stephanie Wood says her flourishing combination with Lightning star Caitlin Bassett will not be enough to get her into the Australian Diamonds squad.

Wood and Bassett have been outstanding at the attack end for the Lightning who are guaranteed of playing finals in their first season.

Wood made her Test debut last year but is not taking Australian selection for granted.

“There’s so many quality goal attacks in this country,’’ Wood said.
