Sorry Suns must adapt

WHAT I HATE WHATEVER the pros and cons of the game in China may be, the final result on the field hurts.

There is no way of sugar-coating what was an insipid performance from the Suns.

Port Adelaide are a good side, no doubt.

But a 62-point better side than Gold Coast? Not on your life. The Suns will have plenty of soul-searching to do after that loss.

They have to find ways to overcome the forward pressure that Port brought to the game.

A less predictable approach coming out of trouble is needed so teams don’t swamp Harbrow and Saad. The Suns also have to be cleaner with their ball use or risk more blowouts.
