Shooting mystery

A MAN with a mystery gunshot wound who drove himself to hospital on Sunday is not co-operating with detectives, say police.

Detectives are investigating the matter but a Queensland Police Service spokesman yesterday confirmed officers were yet to piece together how the man sustained a gunshot wound to the arm because the victim was not co-operating.

The 31-year-old is said to have admitted himself to hospital at about 7pm on Sunday.

One source said as many as 10 uniformed officers and a number of detectives cordoned off and searched an Audi on Sunday night which was towed in the early hours of yesterday.
