IT IS the latest obscure fashion fad adopted by the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Ivanka Trump.

Now, Kate Moss has caught on, saying mismatched earrings are “cooler’’ than a matching pair.

The model, 43, said: “Nobody wears pairs of earrings any more. It’s old-fashioned. I like to throw it on, mix and match earrings. It’s cooler when it’s not styled so much.”

Despite her remarks, Moss has recently been seen wearing matching earrings in public.

Asymmetric earrings were seen on several spring catwalks this year. Last month Ivanka Trump wore eye-catching mismatched earrings on anoverseas trip as adviser to her father, US President Donald.
