The monthly wine dinner at 8th Ave Terrace Palm Beach will feature Marlboroug­h’s Dog Point Vineyard. Chef Chris Harrington has created a fourcourse menu to match four wines from the range, with winemakers Matt Sutherland and Murray Cook on hand to provide insight. Start with the 2016 sauvignon blanc to wash down Tasmanian pacific plate oysters with finger lime and ginger syrup, and a 2014 chardonnay to match an entree of pan-fried gnocchi with brown butter sauce and oregano pine nuts. The main event is the 2014 pinot noir with slow-rendered duck breast, before the 2014 Section 94 Fume Blanc and a cheese plate to finish. Tickets are $85.
