BURLEIGH WATERS – ALLEGED ANIMAL HARM

POLICE are looking for a man after a dog was allegedly injured at Frascott Park, Varsity Lakes, on April 24. About 4.15pm, a man allegedly picked up a dog by its ear, held its mouth closed and threw it about six metres through the air before picking up the dog and leaving.

POLICE believe this man might help them solve an incident on April 23 when items were taken from a toy store. Just after noon, a man walked to the front counter and allegedly removed several items from the front shelving. He left without paying. The man is described as caucasian with a tanned complexion, mid 40s, 187cm tall with a proportion­ate build and close shaven brown hair. He was wearing a white Billabong singlet with a central circular motif, darkcolour­ed baggy shorts with red text on the left leg, and black thongs.

POLICE believe this woman can help with investigat­ions into a stealing incident at a convenienc­e store at Main Beach Parade on April 2. About noon, a woman picked up grocery items before running out of the store without paying and entering a red Hatchback with false numberplat­es. The woman is described as fair-skinned, large build, 166cm tall, with black hair in a bun and a sleeveless white top and blue jeans.
