Plane missing

A LIGHT aircraft carrying four people – including two children – has gone missing near the Bahamas in the infamous Bermuda Triangle.

Air traffic control in Miami lost radar contact with the twin-engine aircraft east of the island of Eleuthera at 2.10pm local time on Monday.

Hours later, a debris field was reported about 24km east of Eleuthera, with the search for survivors continuing late yesterday.
