Opportunity to boost sounds

-

THE latest deep-seated devices from A1 Discreet Hearing Aids provide a leap forward in sound quality for those with significant hearing loss, according to audiologist Suzanne Porter.

“This is because the device doesn’t have to be programmed to provide as much volume as a traditional hearing aid and it sits so close to the ear drum, resulting in a more natural sound for the user,” she said.

“It also allows us to eliminate echoing and reverberation given the reduced space between the device speaker and the ear drum.”

The new devices are also highly discreet and in most cases entirely hidden inside the ear canal.

“These are our most invisible hearing aids as they sit further within the ear canal,” Ms Porter said.

“However, the user can still remove them as they please, through the use of a clear removal line that sits just outside their ear canal.”

Ms Porter said all hearing aids were custom made for the individual through the use of an impression.

A1 Discreet Hearing Aids is at the Q Super Centre in Mermaid Waters, Coolangatta Medical Practice and Hope Island General Practice.

“We provide a free comprehensive hearing assessment and device Tel: 5578 6669 // discreethearing.com.au recommendations,” Ms Porter said.

“Discreet devices are also accessible to eligible pensioners and veterans through the Government program.”
