Boy escapes major injury

A BOY has miraculously avoided being seriously injured after being hit by a car yesterday.

Paramedics treated the boy for cuts and abrasions but he had no major injures after the incident at Helensvale. He was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

The incident occurred at the corner of Kingaroy Ave and Discovery Dr at 3.16pm.
