Day in mix for Byron success
GOLF AUSTRALIA’S Jason Day blasted in to contention of the Byron Nelson tournament after hitting a string of birdies to sit just two shots off the lead going into the final round in Texas.
World No.3 Day had five birdies in a row during the third round to move into a tie for the lead at 10-under.
James Hahn leads on 12-under after a bogey-free six-under 64, leaving the American a stroke ahead of compatriot Billy Horschel, who birdied his last three holes for a 66 to take second place alone.
