Coast clubs dominate

WHAT I RATE TURNING attention to the local Aussie rules, it’s terrific to see three Gold Coast teams leading the QAFL competition.

Labrador, Palm Beach-Currumbin and Broadbeach have the top spots locked down on the competition ladder, taking it to their southeast Queensland counterparts.

It continues the domination of this competition that Labrador have enjoyed – winning the past two grand finals.

Here’s hoping this trend continues for the rest of the 2017 season.

And if there are two Coast teams there on the big day, then hopefully the powers that be can see fit to host the grand final on the Glitter Strip.
