THREE activists have been charged with trespassing after a protest that stopped a coal train in Brisbane.

Protesters chained themselves to a loaded Aurizon coal train yesterday morning during a demonstration against its applications for public funding to build the rail link for Adani’s $21 billion coal mine.

The activists stopped the train in Yeerongpilly by standing on the tracks. Police attempted to negotiate before arresting three of them.
