Man critical after fall

A 76-YEAR-OLD man was flown to hospital in a critical condition after falling three metres through a roof yesterday afternoon.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to South Murwillumbah to assist the man who suffered suspected head and chest injuries.

Once stabilised by the helicopter medical team he was flown to Gold Coast University Hospital where he remained critical last night.
